The Healthcare Assistant supports daily activities, promotes patient dignity, and contributes to a positive care environment. Main Duties & Responsibilities Assist patients with personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting. Support patients with mobility and help them move safely around the ward. Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure. Help serve meals and assist patients with eating and drinking. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient areas. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients. Report any concerns about patient wellbeing to senior staff. Follow infection control and safeguarding procedures. Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
