We are looking for an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Advisor to join a well-established civil engineering client based in Inverness. The Role:
- Providing health and safety support and advice across civil engineering projects
- Conducting risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with current legislation
- Supporting project teams to maintain safe working practices and high standards of site safety
- Preparing reports, method statements, and safety documentation
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to promote a positive safety culture
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor within civil engineering or construction
- NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices
- Experience carrying out site inspections and risk assessments
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple projects
