Job Description

Principal People are exclusively supporting a National Manufacturing organisation to recruit for a Health and Safety Manager.

You will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and will have full autonomy over the Health and Safety Strategy that will be implemented throughout the site.

You will have the opportunity to develop and grow a team of Health and Safety Professionals, all of which have very progressive mindset towards Health and Safety. The business are incredibly supportive towards Health and Safety and have invested heavily into new technology and processes to increase the safety standards.

Health and Safety Manager £65k to £75k Manufacturing Edinburgh

The key duties include:

  • Offering appropriate advice and support to the site teams within Health and Safety matters
  • Creating and Implementing practical and effective methods to promote awareness to Health and Safety
  • To develop and lead a team of Health and Safety Advisors who have both been with the business for a few years.
  • Creating positive relationships with the sites to help improve the HSE Culture across the business
  • Working both operationally and strategically with Health and Safety Matters

We would love to see CV s from people who have:

  • A NEBOSH General Certificate (Diploma preferred)
  • Experience within an operational Health and Safety Experience
  • Manufacturing or High Risk Experience
  • Experience managing a team within Health and Safety
  • Full UK Driving License
