Overview
This is a challenging and rewarding role at the heart of SG crisis response.
Responsibilities
- The development and implementation of a range of policies and procedures to ensure effective functioning of SGORR.
- A programme of recruitment, training and retention for a pool of over 60 volunteers from across Scottish Government, ensuring the active promotion of diversity, inclusion and equality of opportunity.
- The identification and management of lessons and recommendations relevant to SGORR.
- The maintenance and continuous development of a range of physical facilities and associated infrastructure.
- Management and development of the SGORR programme of engagement, both across SG, with COBR and other UK Gov departments, and with a range of partner agencies, contributing proactively to the wider crisis management ecosystem.
- The delivery of SGORR response, both during office hours, and out of hours as required, including during major exercises.
Working Pattern
This role is a permanent level transfer position.
Qualifications & Eligibility
