Head of Product Engineering

A fast-growing technology company is looking for a Head of Product Engineering to lead the architecture and engineering teams delivering a pioneering product. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Oversee the technical architecture, development, and deployment of a key product, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
- Establish and promote best practices in software development, DevOps, and quality assurance.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering innovation and professional growth.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, and Customer Support to align development with business and customer needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong background in software engineering with expertise in at least one modern programming language
- Skills or knowledge in embedded systems, real-time software, and distributed architectures.
- Experience designing and delivering large-scale, high-performance systems with a focus on systems integration.
- Proven leadership in agile software development, with the ability to manage and inspire a cross-functional team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical ideas into clear, actionable strategies.
- Experience leading a product engineering team in a commercial software environment.
