Gym Instructor JD

Salary – £26,676 per annum, pro rata for part-time (£14.35 per hour)

Hours – Full-time & Part-time, 15.25 – 35.75 hours per week

Contract – Permanent

Location – Drumbrae Leisure Centre

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver classes with an enthusiastic and engaging teaching style.
  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for every customer.
  • Interact with customers, offering advice and encouragement.
  • Inspire our youth and junior members witha high-quality programme of activities that are exciting and developmental.

What You’ll Bring:

  • CIMSPA affiliate (old Reps Level 2) or a CIMPSA Practitioner (old Reps Level 3).
  • Previous experience instructing group exercise and fitness programs.
  • Ability to engage and connect with a varied customer base.
  • Warm and welcoming personality topped with enthusiasm, passion, and commitment.

Opportunities available:

  • Full-time – 35.75 hours per week – Monday to Sunday. A mix ofearly & back shifts (earliest start 06:30 & latest finish 22:00). Working every second weekend.
  • Part-time – 15.25 hours per week -Week 1: Thursday 16:00 – 20:00, Saturday & Sunday 10:00 – 18:00, Week 2: Thursday 16:00 – 20:00, Sunday 10:00 – 18:00

Closing date – Tuesday, 7th of July

Assessment date – Wednesday, 15th of July

Assessment location – Drumbrae Leisure Centre
