Are you a proactive and detail-driven finance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment? At Evotix, we’re looking for a Group Accountant to take ownership of consolidated accounts, year-end reporting, and financial operations that keep our business running smoothly.

In this role, you’ll produce timely and accurate monthly consolidated accounts, lead year-end accounting and reporting, and partner with teams across the business to ensure financial processes are seamless. You’ll also play a key role in driving system improvements-streamlining processes, enhancing efficiency, and helping shape the future of our finance operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsibility for monthly Group consolidation of currently 13 entities and 3 levels of consolidation, requiring monthly intercompany reclassification and other group eliminations, as well as FX considerations.
  • Review of monthly actual results versus forecast and budget, providing insightful analysis on key variances.
  • Responsible for year-end procedures;
  • Prepare year end journals and Group consolidation
  • Liaise with Group finance on year end group reporting requirements
  • Prepare UK statutory accounts and other global legal accounting requirements
  • Liaise with the external auditors, preparing any required documentation and answering queries as needed
  • Liaise with global tax accountants on all tax returns, providing data and analysis as required
  • Establish a Business Partnering programme, whereby relationships are built with the leads of each department across the business, assisting them with understanding, preparing and managing budgets and costs.
  • Lead on new financial system and AI initiatives; this could include implementing a new ERP system as well as reviewing all finance related systems to ensure they are the most efficient.
  • Suggest any other changes or improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost reductions

What You Bring

  • Professional accounting qualification essential (ICAS, ICAEW, or equivalent)
  • 1-2 years’ industry experience desirable in similar finance roles
  • Strong communication at all levels of a business
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Ability to work equally as well both independently and collaboratively as a team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with technology and working with different systems
