Our client is a leading civil engineering firm with a reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across various sectors. As they continue to expand, we are looking for skilled and dedicated Groundworker to join their team.

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Groundworker to perform a wide range of groundwork tasks for projects across the Highlands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundwork, be a team player, and have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare construction sites by clearing obstacles, debris, and vegetation.
• Excavate, backfill, and compact soil and other materials.
• Install drainage systems, foundations, and underground utilities.
• Lay and maintain paving, kerbs, and concrete.
• Operate and maintain various construction equipment and machinery.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures.
• Collaborate with the site manager and other team members to ensure project timelines are met.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Groundworker.
• Familiarity with construction tools, machinery, and materials.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid CSCS card or equivalent.
• Full UK driving license is preferred.
