About the Role:
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Groundworkers to join our team on an exciting windfarm project based near Inverness. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a key renewable energy development, contributing to a sustainable future while working in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site preparation including excavation, drainage, ducting, and concreting
- Trenching and laying of cables
- Working with plant and machinery under supervision
- Installation of access roads and foundations for turbines
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and site plans
- Ensuring all works are carried out safely and to specification
- Maintaining site cleanliness and organization
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Groundworker on civil or infrastructure projects (windfarm experience desirable)
- Valid CSCS card (required)
- CPCS/NPORS tickets for plant/machinery (advantageous)
- Health & Safety awareness
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Willingness to work in remote or rural locations and in all weather conditions
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
