Infinity is a growing independent engineering consultancy specialising in subsea and topsides Oil & Gas Engineering and New Energy related projects including Carbon Capture, Floating Wind and Hydrogen.
Infinity is based in Aberdeenshire, Westhill.
Infinity provides expertise to clients and projects in a range of regions which spans UKCS, Norwegian Sector, Americas, West Africa and Australia.
Summary of Role:
The Graduate Subsea Project Engineer will work as part of a team to deliver engineering projects with a focus on both Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy.
The focus will generally be on subsea-orientated workscopes encompassing Operations and Maintenance, multi-discipline Feasibility/Concept stage studies and Technical Support.
The Graduate Subsea Project Engineer will have an active role in all stages of the projects including exposure to the ISO9001:2015 policies, procedures and all associated requirements.
Experience:
- Ideally previous exposure to Project Engineering within the Oil & Gas/Renewables industries, particularly diving and ROV activities.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, capable of working effectively in diverse teams and on own initiative.
- Awareness of industry regulations and standards, particularly those impacting subsea operations.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and environmental protection.
- Willing and able to work offshore and remote on-site facilities as required to promote development.
Minimum Experience / Qualities:
The successful candidate will –
- Have the ability to use or interest in learning typical engineering software packages.
- Be presentable and confident in client meeting environment.
- Be enthusiastic, flexible and motivated to deliver high quality engineering support to in-house and client points of contact.
In-house training will be provided and external courses will be utilised if/as required.
Office-based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire with onsite and offshore trips as required.
