Job Description
Make a Bigger Impact. Reclaim Your Time. Love Where You Work.
Salaried GP High Sessional Rate Flexible Working
What if your next GP role gave you time to practice medicine properly, space to breathe, and a team that genuinely has your back?
We’re inviting passionate, patient centred General Practitioners to join our friendly, forward thinking practices across Scotland. This is not “just another GP post”. It’s a chance to work differently-and better.
Why This Role Is Different
We believe excellent patient care starts with happy, supported clinicians. That’s why we’ve built a model where:
- Sessional rates are above BMA guidance (experience dependent)
- Expanding group – be part of a growing group and help shape things
- Flexible working – 4-8 sessions per week with no late nights (practice policy)
- Practice medicine the way it was meant to be-building lasting relationships and making a genuine impact in close knit communities.
- Unmatched Lifestyle: Enjoy Scotland’s stunning landscapes, from rugged coastlines to rolling countryside, with more time to breathe, explore, and recharge.
- Strong MDT (You Won’t Be Doing This Alone) including ANPs, nurses, pharmacists, CTAC and DN’s as well as a friendly supportive admin team
- Paper light, well organised practice
- Supportive management team and strong team ethos
- Whether you’re looking for 4-8 sessions, term time working, part time, full time, we’ll work with you to design a job that fits your life.
The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated GP to join a warm, supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high quality, patient centred care.
You’ll be part of a paper light, well organised practice with excellent systems, a strong clinical governance culture, and an approachable management team who listen and act.
Please note: We are unable to sponsor international candidates at this time.
Development & Progression
Growth matters here – clinically and professionally.
- Full induction provided
- Ongoing training and CPD encouraged
- Clinical progression actively supported
- Wide range of learning and teaching opportunities
- We’re progressing towards training practice status and would welcome GPs interested in becoming trainers in the future
Location & Lifestyle
Our practices are beautifully located across Scotland, offering the best of both worlds: Rural living with real community connections.
Easy commute from cities nearby with excellent public transport and motorway links.
It’s a location where your work feels meaningful – and your time outside work is yours again.
Ready for a Refreshing Change?
If you’re a GP who wants:
- To feel valued
- To help shape things from the start (They are able to shape things from the beginning as we are effectively starting from scratch)
- To practice high quality medicine
- To be supported, not stretched
- And to work somewhere that means it when it says “work life balance”
we would love to hear from you.
