Overview

Blackwood Medical Practice, 125 Carlisle Road, Blackwood, Lanarkshire, ML11 9RT.

An opportunity to join as a GP or ANP with up to 4 sessions available. At least two sessions should be on Monday or Friday, the busiest days.

We consider long term locum, initial locum, or salaried roles (standard BMA model) with potential partnership pathway.

Responsibilities

A standard session is four hours, with three hours of direct patient contact.

• 10 appointments, each 15 minutes.
• 30 minutes of additional face to face or short telephone follow up contacts.
• 60 minutes allocated for limited administrative work with correspondence or results related to the GP/ANP.
• No house calls, no special requests or triage responsibilities.

Practice details: two GP partners; approximately 3,900 patient list; located 3 minutes from M74 by car.

Systems used: VISION, DOCMAN, Microtech check in, Accurx, Lexacom Echo.

Compensation & Contract

Fees depend on skill/experience level, to be discussed individually.

• Current locum fee per session: £320 + 22.5% superannuation.
• Fees for ANP in line with AFC banding.

Contract type: permanent (with options for locum or salaried roles as discussed).
