Geothermal Reservoir & Well Research Engineer (Part-Time)

Job Description

TownRock Energy and Heriot-Watt University invite applications for a Research Engineer in Geothermal Reservoir & Well Engineering. This jointly hosted post combines academia with industry, focusing on reservoir simulation, well design, and stimulation in Scotland, Ireland, and beyond.

The role is fixed-term for 24 months, part-time (0.5FTE), with a Grade 7 salary around £37,694-£47,389 per annum pro-rated for 0.5FTE. Based in Edinburgh, hybrid working arrangements may be considered.
