We’re seeking a talented and driven Geo-Environmental Engineer to join an expert team in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of ground investigation projects and further develop your technical skills in an established, supportive consultancy.
As a Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will have the chance to apply your technical expertise and work on a variety of complex projects in both office and field settings. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and benefit from ongoing training and development.

Key Responsibilities of the Geo-Environmental Engineer role:

Conducting and overseeing ground investigations, including borehole logging and coring, soil sampling, and field testing.

Writing factual and interpretive reports based on field data.

Ensuring health and safety standards are met on site.

Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure smooth project delivery.

Managing the technical aspects of projects, with potential for client interaction and project leadership.
What we’re looking for:

A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering).

Some prior experience in a geo-environmental or geotechnical role, with proficiency in ground investigation techniques.

Strong report writing and communication skills.

A full UK driving licence, as travel to site is required.

Eligibility to work in the UK.
