Genetic Counsellor Trainee – Fully Funded MSc (Distance)

Job Description

NHS Scotland is advertising a full-time Pre-Registration Genetic Counsellor post based in Edinburgh. The role is part of NHS Scotland’s post-graduate training scheme for Genetic & Genomic Counselling and is supported by NHS Education for Scotland.

The trainee will undertake a fully funded 3-year MSc in Genetic & Genomic Counselling through Cardiff University (distance learning) with five training blocks in Wales, the first of which occurs Sept 28 to Oct 7, 2026.
