Job Title: General Operative / Semi Skilled (Medium Risk Confined Space)
Location: Fife, Scotland
Hours: 12 hours/day Mon-Sun
PAYE Pay Rates:
Mon-Fri, All Hrs: 18.00, hour Including Holiday Pay
Sat-Sun: 24.00/hr
Lodge Allowance: 65.00/day worked
Duration: 3-4 weeks
The Role:
To provide general site support on a new build industrial project, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials, lifting of equipment, and maintaining site cleanliness. The role requires a proactive, safety-conscious individual with a valid Medium Risk Confined Space Certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely move and handle construction materials and equipment around site.
Operate lifting equipment and assist with manual handling tasks as required.
Carry out general labouring duties including site cleaning, waste removal, and maintaining safe access routes.
Support trades and site management with ad hoc tasks to ensure smooth project delivery.
Enter and work within confined spaces in line with safety procedures and certification requirements.
Follow all site health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.
Report any hazards, incidents, or unsafe practices immediately.
Requirements:
Valid Medium Risk Confined Space Certificate (essential)
CSCS/CCNSG card
Previous experience working on construction or industrial sites (desirable).
Good understanding of health & safety procedures.
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
