Job Description
A leading contractor has an exciting opportunity for a General Foreman to join a major substation project in Orkney.
Contract: Months
Rotation: 11 days on / 3 days off (Mon Thu, Fri Sun off, return Mon)
Package: Flights, accommodation, and meals provided + competitive day rate (PAYE only)
About the Role
You ll take charge of site operations, making sure everything runs safely, efficiently, and to spec. This is a hands-on role with a mix of site supervision and office-based tasks perfect for someone who likes variety and responsibility.
What You ll Be Doing
- Leading daily site activities and managing the team
- Keeping health & safety front and center
- Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring progress stays on track
- Helping with planning and paperwork to keep things moving smoothly
What You ll Need
- CSCS Card
- SMSTS or SSSTS
- First Aid (preferred but not essential)
