Overview
Saltire Facilities Management is looking for a skilled and reliable Gas Engineer to join its growing team, covering Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on gas appliances across social housing and private properties, helping to ensure homes remain safe, warm and compliant. This is a hands-on, field-based role where you will work independently while being supported by an experienced office team.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair gas appliances.
- Diagnose central heating faults and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
- Complete planned maintenance work to a high standard.
- Build professional relationships with tenants, clients and colleagues.
- Complete all job paperwork accurately and on time.
- Participate in standby cover on average once per week.
- Follow Gas Safe regulations, company procedures and Health and Safety standards.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.
Essential Requirements
- Gas Safe registration.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Professional and customer-focused approach.
- Self-sufficient work style with ability to contribute effectively as part of a team.
