In the role of Retail Manager you will be running the store and leading the management team to strive towards ensuring that the highest level of customer service is provided at all time.

The role requires excellent communication skills to lead and motivate our team, and the successful candidate will be required to run the operation of the store when the Store Manager is on holiday or days off.

The successful candidate will also have great merchandising skills and be able to prioritise and delegate tasks to the team.

The position is full time and the successful candidate will be expected to be flexible including working weekends as required.

What does a day look like?

Our stores can be incredibly varied, and no two days are ever quite the same! However, you can expect to:

• Organise and motivate our store team to ensure that all colleagues provide excellent levels of service and advice to our customers.
• Share your expertise and connect with our customers as you assist them in purchasing the right gear to enjoy the outdoors.
• Maintain our excellent shop floor standards and ensure the store is a beautiful and engaging place for our customers to shop.
• Support the merchandising of the store by ensuring that products are in the right place and in the right quantities.
• Research and resolve customer issues.
• Implement marketing campaigns and promotions as directed by the Store Manager.
• Deal with enquiries and complaints, resolving the issue at the earliest opportunity, liaising with the office customer service team to resolve warranty issues.
• Develop internal staff and promote progression within the team.
