.We currently have an opportunity for Casual Food Service Assistant to join our amazing team.

No two days are ever the same at our zoo! As a Food Service Assistant, you’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team delivering exceptional service across our vibrant hospitality outlets – including restaurants, cafés, kiosks, and special event spaces.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll play an important part in creating memorable experiences for our visitors.
What you’ll do
- Welcoming and hosting guests with a warm, professional approach
- Taking orders and serving food and beverages efficiently
- Preparing barista-style drinks and other beverages
- Operating tills and handling payments accurately
- Setting up and closing down service areas
- Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
- Supporting kitchen and front-of-house teams as required
What you’ll bring

- Good attention to detail and punctuality
- Being proactive is key
- Experience within a hospitality, catering or bar setting not essential
