Connect Appointments is recruiting a Forklift Driver to join an established logistics and transportation business based in Grangemouth.
Our client operates a busy warehouse facility in Grangemouth, offering a four-day working week with three-day weekends as standard and a pay rate that increases significantly after just three weeks.
What’s on offer?
- Temporary position with the opportunity for permanent employment
- 12.88 per hour, rising to 14.95 after just 3 weeks
- Monday to Thursday, 7am to 5pm
As a Forklift Driver, your duties will include:
- Manoeuvring forklifts safely within a busy industrial environment
- Stacking and relocating goods to designated storage areas
- Unloading deliveries and moving stock to loading areas for transport
- Ensuring forklift operating areas are free from obstructions and hazards
- Carrying out regular equipment checks for faults or damage
To be considered as a Forklift Driver, you will need:
- A valid Counterbalance forklift licence
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing or similar environment
- Good spatial awareness and attention to detail
- Knowledge of warehouse health and safety requirements
