Accommodation, Conference and Events have an exciting opportunity for an outgoing and enthusiastic individual to join the team as Food Service Assistant in our retail cafes.
Our four cafes are based throughout the University campus: Tindal’s café at Walter Bower House, UPDATES in the Physics building, Fairlie’s in the Medical Building and Franki’s in the main Library. Occasionally you may be asked to assist service in other areas including weddings, conferences, bars, social and core University events like graduation. Working as part of the team to ensure the service standards at the University are of the highest quality.
Responsibilities
We are looking for a team player who engage positively with students and staff to deliver excellence in food quality, presentation, and service. Applicants should also demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to work.
Previous experience working in a customer facing role is essential. This post involves a ‘hands on’ approach to provide the highest quality service. The successfully applicant will really enjoy delivering an excellent customer experience.
This post is term time only working 39 weeks from September to May.
