Job Description
Job overview
This is a new post at an exciting time in the development of our regional stroke service. Stroke services at the Trust are currently provided from the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, Worthing Hospital and St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester. This post will be based at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. There is a reconfiguration of stroke services across West Sussex underway. From 2027, St Richards Hospital will host the designated Acute Stroke Centre for West Sussex with work underway to create a new purpose built unit on that hospital site. The stroke service at Worthing will close at that point. Alongside the build, the ICB / Trust is investing heavily in expanding the workforce across stroke services and the associated disciplines to deliver this expanded and redesigned service.
