A vacancy has arisen to join our Large Engine Business based in Kirkhill, Dyce. The successful candidate will strip and build engine modules and balance rotating parts whilst following QHS&E and operational procedures.

An overview of your day
- Receipt of Engines / Modules.
- Strip & Build of Engines / Modules as required.
- Balance of Rotating Components.
- To provide on the job technical training as required.
- To ensure that the correct standards of material handling are observed at all times.
- To provide support to the inspection department depending on operational requirement.
- Plan & organise each task given to ensure that it complies with QHS&E company procedures / guidelines.
- Ensure correct procedures and documentation are used at all times.
- Comply with company QHS&E and operational procedures.
- Undertake other duties as may be reasonably required to meet the needs of the business.
What we need from you
- Time served Mechanical Engineer / Fitter
- Recognised Apprenticeship or National Certificate
- Good organisational & planning skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Several years of experience in Gas Turbine environment preferred but not essential
- Ability to translate technical requirements into operational instructions
- Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team environment
