Fire Alarm Engineer Job Description
Due to new contract wins, our client is looking for a full-time on-site role for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer in the Glasgow area of Scotland. The Fire Alarm Service Engineer will provide technical support, maintenance and repair, and field service for fire alarm systems.
The Fire Alarm Service Engineer will also troubleshoot issues and effectively communicate resolutions with customers.
Qualifications
- Strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
- Gent trained is a must for this role
- Experience in Field Service Maintenance & Repair
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems and relevant regulations, including BS5839 Part 1
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Industry-recognised qualifications would be beneficial
- Experience using test equipment and software • Gent, Advanced, Siemens, Kentec experience preferable
