Supporting the wider group companies, you will provide them with budgets & forecasts, financial and management accounts, drive forward necessary process improvements to ensure an efficient daily & monthly routine is embedded, which delivers reliable, accurate & timely information to the Senior Management Team.

Description
The successful candidate will likely have they following responsibilities:
- Annual statutory accounts preparation using CCH software
- Responsibility for consolidations, required disclosures and intercompany analysis
- Work alongside colleagues within Group to ensure intercompany balances being reported are reconciled periodically and annually.
- Corporation tax management, reporting and planning
- Cashflow planning and analysis
- Assistance in the preparation of monthly management accounts and liaising with heads of department to understand and interpret the numbers. This is as much a value-add role as one of compliance.
- Assistance with accurate coding of revenue, cost, and asset postings.
- Assistance with the accuracy and control of the Month End close process
- Responsibility for the accuracy and control of the Year End process
- Responsibility for the accuracy, control, and reconciliation of the Balance Sheet
- Ensure tax compliance across the group including assistance in the review and submission of VAT, CIS, and PSA and P11d returns
- Assistance in the preparation and provision of relevant information to external auditors and advisors
- Supporting the FD, FC, and FM in the drive for continued improvement of management reporting and financial controls
- Assistance in ad hoc projects across the wider group of companies as necessary including group structure rationalisation and planning
- Assistance with the upcoming integration of new E system
Profile
The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:
- Qual CA/ACCA
- Competent with Microsoft Office – in particular Excel
- Demonstrable history of working with and creating financial models would be advantageous
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills and commitment to team working with an ability to influence key members of senior management
- Demonstrable professional continuous development
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Planning and organisational skills and excellent time management with ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
- A proactive attitude, including a flexible approach to the demands of the role and the needs of the wider business
Job Offer
This role offers a competitive salary of 50,000- 55,000 DOE, plus benefits.
