Grade -B3

Advert type -Level Transfer

Duration -12 month with the possibility of extension, subject to ongoing service need and organisational requirements.

Eligibility – Expressions of interest are invited from substantive colleagues on level transfer at grade B3 from Core SG only.

Skilled Worker Sponsorship not being offered

Skilled Worker sponsorship is not available for this role. As a result, we are unable to appoint candidates who require Skilled Worker sponsorship now or in the future. Applicants must have an existing and ongoing right to work in the UK.

We have an opportunity for a B3 Finance Lead to join the Cladding Remediation Directorate on 12 month basis with the possibility of extension to support delivery of the Scottish Government Cladding Remediation Programme. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with skills in budget management and forecasting.

The post holder will support the Business Manager, Unit head and Director to understand, profile and manage the directorate and programme budget addressing risk and challenges within constrained budgets.

The post holder will need to be resilient and capable of operating autonomously and with other teams, but with the expectation of proactive information sharing to build and maintain trust with individuals and teams.

Support and supervision will be provided by the Directorate Business Manager and the Unit Head.
