What we do .
This particular role is based at our Bakkavor Salads Bo’ness site, which employs over 1,000 people and produces food-to-go salads and salad accompaniments to a number of customers. It is located 3.5 miles from Linlithgow and 8 miles to Falkirk
About the role.
In this busy and exciting role, you will provide management accounts support to the operations and development team, and a proactive and effective business partnering relationship with the site teams.
Accountabilities
- Ensuring that accurate costings are built for all development activity, highlighting potential risks or opportunities
- Liaising with Development, Commercial and Operations to accurately capture relevant information and communicate with key stakeholders
- Maintenance of costing master data in finance systems
- Ensuring that accurate and effective management accounts are prepared and that exceptions are identified and highlighted
- Supporting business managers to ensure they understand the information provided and are utilising it to improve performance
- Generating ad-hoc information which will support the analysis of business performance or the understanding of standard costs
- Supporting the generation of the operational elements of a rolling forecast – reviewing the results and delivering feedback
- Identifying areas of improvement and weaknesses – suggesting modifications as appropriate
- Working across the sector to align business partnering processes
What you will need
Ideally you will have previous experience of a similar role within a fast-paced food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
You will be qualified or working towards relevant qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent and possess the ability to manage large volumes of data into usable formats.
Excellent communication, analytical, customer service and excel skills will be key, as will the ability to produce accurate and informative management account reports.
