Field Store Warehouse Operative
Job Description
Brightwork are recruiting for a Field Store Warehouse Operative for a company in Paisley. Previous van driving experience and a full UK drivers licence is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Delivery scheduling & query handling
- Dealing with the clients face to face & on the phone
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Assisting team members with picking, packing, and processing tasks to increase overall warehouse efficiency
- Complying with workplace health and safety measures to minimise operational risk
- Stock management, replenishment, and rotation
- Occasional travel to other sites in Glenrothes/Dundee for holiday cover may also be required (transport will be provided for this).
Qualifications
- Our perfect worker will be good at timekeeping and have strong customer service skills. You must also need to be IT literate, in order to use the systems and devices on site.
- Field Store Operatives will be flexible and must hold a full clean UK Driving License.
- Experience in a similar role is required.
- Some heavy lifting might be involved in this role, (2-man lift, maximum 25kg).
Key Information & Benefits
- Full time role
- 5 days per week, weekdays only (no weekends required)
- Rota shifts of 7am – 4pm or 6am – 3pm with 30 minute lunch break
- Some days may be warehouse based all day, somedays may be van driving all day – the right candidate will need to be flexible on this.
