Service Engineer Rotating Equipment

Location: South East (Field Based)

Salary: Up to £48,000 + optional overtime

Overtime: Weekdays at 1.5x Sundays at 2x

No on-call rota Overtime is optional

Role Overview

Were seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our growing team, supporting clients across the Southeast with the maintenance, repair, and installation of rotating equipment. This is a field-based role offering excellent pay, flexible overtime, and no on-call commitments. Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, gearboxes, fans, compressors)

Carry out routine maintenance, fault finding, and emergency breakdown support

Install and commission new equipment at client sites

Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate documentation

Liaise with clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Adhere to health & safety standards and company procedures

Travel across the Midlands region (company vehicle provided)

About You

Proven experience working with rotating equipment in industrial or engineering settings

Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Full UK driving licence

Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent)

Package Details

Competitive salary up to £48,000
