Job Description

We are currently working with a growing broadband provider who are expanding their installation teams across various locations in the Highlands as they continue to roll out fibre to rural communities. This is a great opportunity for someone hands on, customer focused, and looking to build a career in fibre – full training can be provided.

The Role:

You’ll be working on the front line, installing fibre connections directly into customers’ homes and helping bring high-speed broadband to rural areas. Working to a scheduled diary, you’ll play a key role in delivering a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installing Fibre to the Premises (FTTP) connections
  • Pulling/blowing fibre cables from cabinets or chambers to properties
  • Carrying out light excavation works in customer gardens
  • Clearing blockages through soft dig methods
  • Working on overhead networks where required
  • Completing internal installations and setting up equipment (CPE)
  • Testing connections and ensuring everything is fully operational
  • Talking customers through the service and answering any questions
  • Maintaining a high standard of customer service on every job

What we’re looking for:

  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable with manual work and working outdoors
  • Willingness to work at height when required
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn (training provided)

Benefits:

  • Discretionary quarterly bonus
  • Subsidised gym membership
  • 32 days holiday
  • 5% enhanced employer pension contribution

Evening and occasional weekend work may be required, and a disclosure check will be carried out due to the nature of the role. This is a great chance to join a growing team, learn new skills, and be part of a company making a real difference to connectivity across rural Scotland.
