Facilities Technician – Ratho Early Years
Facilities Technician position within the City of Edinburgh Council.
Salary: £27,257 – £29,850 (pro rated for part time). Hours: 12 per week – 7:00-9:30 am Monday Thursday and 7:00-9:00 am Friday.

Major tasks: day to day FM, janitorial and DIY operations across one or more buildings – including small repairs, general maintenance, reactive cleaning, supporting moves and basic security functions.

Pre employment checks: This role is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Candidates must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. An overseas criminal record check is required if the applicant has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years. Offer of employment is contingent on satisfactory completion of both checks.
