The Job
As a Facilities Officer, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for providing essential facilities management services across multiple sites in Scotland. Your role will involve supporting the Facilities Manager with planned maintenance, including overseeing repairs, ensuring projects comply with regulations and working closely with external contractors to monitor the quality of work. You will be responsible for ensuring that facilities are safe, functional and compliant with all legal standards. This position will also involve project management, reporting and developing solutions that align with business needs and organisational goals.
The Person
You will be a proactive and organised individual with a minimum HND/HNC in Building Surveying or a relevant technical qualification. You should have experience in facilities management, contract administration and project management within cross-functional teams. A strong understanding of construction techniques, building standards and health and safety regulations is essential. You must be confident working both independently and within a team and able to managing competing priorities effectively. Experience with CAD and producing warrant drawings is essential. A full driving licence is required.
