First Achieve’s Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Fabricator Welder to join an established and growing company in the North/East Greater Glasgow region. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to Marine products world-wide.
Essential skills, experience and knowledge:
The successful candidate must have:
- Their own transport (preferable as public transport to the site is not reliable)
- Settled UK Status/UK Citizenship
- Must be residing in the UK at the time of application
- Experience in Sheet Metal Work / Metal Fabrication / Plating
- MIG welding experience would also be required.
- Aluminium Welding Experience would be a pro.
What’s on Offer:
- Temporary (probation) period of 12 weeks, then transfer to permanent
- Paying 17 per hour while under temp (probation) through agency
- Paying circa 15 per hour once permanent
- 39hr work week
- Early Friday finishes
- 4.5 day work week
- 7am to 4pm Mon to Thurs and 7am to 12pm Fri
- OT 1.5x

This role will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team ensuring the efficient and continual, management and organisation of products on the premise.
