Job Description
You will be involved in the build of supports used in Shipbuilding/Shiprepair, based out of our client’s fabrication shop in Renfrew.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out fabrication tasks along side a team of welders
- Following precise technical drawings and specifications
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship and adherence to safety protocols
- Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines
Job Requirements:
- Experience in fabrication within the marine/other heavy industries
- Strong skills in Fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and protocols
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work overtime as required
Benefits:
- 22/h PAYE plus 2.66/h holiday pay or 29.46/h Umb co
- Initial contract until September with good chance of extensions to the end of the year
- Standard 39 hours with potential of Overtime (up to 46 hours)
