Job Description
Were seeking a multi-skilled Fabricator to join our growing engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal (predominantly stainless steel) components and structures according to technical drawings and/or specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings (where supplied)
- Cut, shape, and weld metal materials to precise measurements
- Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to meet project deadlines
About You:
- Proven experience in metal fabrication or a related engineering trade
- Proficient in MIG/TIG welding and general fabrication techniques although we predominantly TIG weld.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to carry out bench fitting with experience of using hand tools
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude as the majority of our projects are bespoke to customers and one-off’s.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in fabrication/welding, as well as experience of conveyor building are desirable.

Working 37 hours per week over 4 days on a rolling shift pattern: Monday – Thursday 7.30am – 5.15pm then Tuesday – Friday 7.30am – 5.15pm, meaning every second weekend is a long weekend.
UK Driving Licence is essential.
Main workshop is based in Dumbarton however the successful candidate will be required to travel to/from client sites as requested.
