The Role As the Fabric Engineer, you ll be responsible for maintaining high standards across various sites. Your key duties will include:
- PPM Tasks: Conducting regular Planned Preventative Maintenance, including AHU/FCU checks and water temperature monitoring.
- Fabric Maintenance: Carrying out general repairs, carpentry work, and decorating tasks.
- Operational Support: Responding promptly to maintenance requests to ensure operational continuity and client satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensuring all work is carried out in strict accordance with health and safety regulations.
You To be successful in the role of Fabric Engineer, you ll bring:
- Experience: Relevant experience in maintenance and repairs, ideally with a Joinery qualification/background.
- Problem-Solving: Strong abilities to troubleshoot issues and maintain a high attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and with clients.
- Proactive Mindset: A positive approach to tasks and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Safety Conscious: A solid understanding of health and safety practices in maintenance environments.

- Salary: £33,000 per annum
- Contract: Permanent
- Location: Ayrshire and surrounding areas
- Working Week: Monday to Friday (40 hours)
- Call-Out Rota: Manageable 1 in 6 schedule to ensure work-life balance
- Equipment: Company van, tools, and fuel card provided
