Job Description

AM Phillip Trucktech is a family business that has operated for 70 years, leading Scotland’s commercial vehicle sector. We manage seven depots and are the sole IVECO dealer group in Scotland, while also representing Ford, Fiat and Maxus commercial vehicle franchises.

The role of parts sales advisor is based at our busy workshop in Broxburn and offers manufacturer training, competitive pay and excellent working conditions.

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday with rotational Saturday mornings.

THE ROLE

  • Respond to customer enquiries in person, by phone and via email.
  • Order, book out parts, invoice, and collect payment.
  • Check in parts deliveries as required.
  • Manage parts stock and maintain accurate records.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Liaise with the workshop, service advisors and customers.
  • Provide quotations to customers.
  • Deliver parts during holiday cover as needed.

THE PERSON

  • Previous experience in a parts department.
  • Strong understanding of a mechanical/automotive environment.
  • Excellent organisational and customer service skills.
  • High IT literacy.
  • Current full driving licence.
