Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator with a specialization in facades, roofing, and cladding to join our client in Port Glasgow. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our project planning and execution, providing accurate cost estimates that are essential for our continued success and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for facade projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to gather necessary project information.
• Evaluate and manage subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
• Monitor and update cost estimates as project conditions change.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Estimator
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations specific to facades.
• Working knowledge of faces, roofing, cladding projects
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field are preferred.
