EO/IR Systems Engineer – Trials & Lifecycle Lead (Hybrid)

Job Description

Leonardo UK Ltd in Edinburgh seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to lead EO/IR technologies and oversee the complete lifecycle from concept to end of service. You’ll plan, coordinate, and execute trials, configure instrumentation, analyse data, and feed results into system design maturity and verification evidence.

Hybrid role with some on-site work, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with UK teams to drive engineering excellence and continual improvement across projects.
