Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting technical maintenance and support for engineering projects
- Assisting in the fabrication, testing, and evaluation of defence-related equipment
- Ensuring compliance with BPSS + SC Security Levels and ITAR regulations
- Collaborating with engineering teams to enhance operational efficiency
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reports of technical procedures
- Managing and operating specialised tooling and equipment as required
Job Requirements:
- Experience as a technician, preferably within the defence or a closely related sector
- Ability to conduct technical and maintenance tasks onsite
- Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 desirable
Skills:
Experience of working within a mechanical environment.
Use of SAP, Microsoft Office and Teamcenter are desirable.
Weapons background
Robust nature as working outside mainly fromdeg to -12 deg
Strong safety ethic
A Team player in small teams
Qualifications:
Have a recognised Safety and Health Management qualification e.g. IOSH, desirable.
Security Level:
BPSS + SC + Subject to ITAR
This role will require the person to hold full Security Clearance (SC) prior to working onsite. You will need to obtain a BPSS check as part of this process. You must currently hold or be eligible and willing to obtain SC. In addition, this role involves direct and/or indirect access to ITAR Material which means there are restriction.
