Overview

Trillium Flow Technologies serves customers in the power, oil & gas, general industry and water & wastewater sectors with highly engineered valves, pumps and actuators, as well as complete support in every phase of a project or operation.

We have UK facilities/offices in Alloa, Elland, Bedford, East Kilbride & London. As well as employees-based UK wide within customer sites.

An exciting new vacancy has arisen aligned to the continued growth of our Company for the role of ENGINEERING LEAD – PUMPS

ENGINEERING INDUSTRY ALLOA

Responsibilities / Role

  • Coordinate, advise and execute aspects of the Alloa high integrity pumps business, coordinating engineering support relating to the design, upgrading/modification, and maintenance of various types of rotating equipment.
  • Mentor and support Alloa (APS) operations design team and ensure that Health, Safety, Environment and Quality are maintained in accordance with the Trillium HSEQ management system.
  • Take ownership of on-time completion of engineering tasks and undertakings to the highest standards of professionalism, safety and quality.
  • Actively support and promote the Company’s policies and procedures related to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
  • Establish and build good working relationships with all Trillium customers both internal and external.
  • Broaden the Alloa (APS) operations team’s design knowledge and expand depth of knowledge specifically relating to Trillium products and services.
  • Prepare product definitions and quality plans when required.
  • Identify performance improvements and prepare design reports.
  • Support Alloa design team members and departments with respect to engineering design issues.
  • Ensure product integrity is maintained and engineering-related non-conformance reports (NCRs) are resolved timeously.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Degree or HND in a related engineering design field
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Product Centre (DMS) or equivalent
  • SolidWorks
  • Geomagic Design X or equivalent
  • Geomagic Control X or equivalent
  • Q-Pulse QMS
  • ANSYS software – Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) & Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
