Employment Solicitor (4 years’+)

A leading Scottish law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Employment Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join its growing Employment team in Edinburgh.

This is an excellent opportunity for an employment Solicitor looking to take responsibility for their own caseload, work directly with clients and develop their career within a supportive and collaborative team.

The Role

You will advise a varied client base across a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including:

• Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting ET3s and attending hearings
• Day-to-day HR and employee relations advice
• Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies and procedures
• Settlement agreements
• Employment aspects of corporate transactions
• Providing training and employment law updates to clients
• Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

About You

You will be a qualified Employment Solicitor with 4+ years’ PQE and strong experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment law.

You will ideally have:

• Experience managing your own employment caseload
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• A practical and commercially focused approach
• Experience of Employment Tribunal work
• The ability to manage competing priorities effectively
• A collaborative and approachable style
• An interest in developing client relationships and contributing to practice growth
