Our client, a leading technology company in Dundee specialising in electronic design, manufacture, and assembly for defence, aviation, and industrial sectors, seeks an experienced electronics technician to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and modify electrical control systems and enclosures.
- Install components on backboards: din rails, trunking, and electrical components
- Perform high-quality wiring and soldering to industry standards
- Interpret complex technical schematics and drawings
- Conduct quality assurance inspections, ensuring work meets defence and aviation standards
- Prepare finished products for dispatch
- Maintain workshop organisation and conduct stock checks
- Work on diverse electronic equipment: power supply units, microwave amplifiers, and bespoke products
- Collaborate with engineering
- Engage in continuous learning and adapt to new technologies
Requirements:
- Strong background in electrical wiring and electronics assembly
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent hand skills and attention to detail
