Electronics Engineer (Spacecraft Applications) Dundee (On-site)

Overview
We’re hiring an Electronics Engineer to join an established engineering team developing new products and technologies for spacecraft applications. You’ll contribute across the full electronics design lifecycle – from component selection and schematic capture through simulation, test, and supporting PCB design.
What you’ll be doing
- Electronic circuit design for space-focused products/technology
- Device selection and trade-off evaluation
- Schematic capture and design development
- Circuit simulation and testing/verification
- Providing engineering input into PCB design
Essential skills & experience
- 1st class degree in Electronics Engineering (or closely related) or equivalent industry experience
- Strong practical experience in electronic design
- Minimum 2 years’ industrial experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently with limited supervision, and collaborate effectively within a team
- Good mathematical skills
Desirable (nice-to-have) experience
- FPGA power supply design
- Digital signal and image processing
- Integration of processing devices with high data-rate communications peripheralsDesigning for high reliability / high availability
