Electrician – Testing and Inspection
East of Scotland / Perth/Dundee
Permanent Full Time
Salary £41,822 plus Vehicle and Excellent Package
Role
- Work mobile across the region, visiting various commercial sites.
- Carry out testing and inspection, fixed wire testing, and eICRs.
- Perform associated electrical minor works, installation, and remedial works.
- Undertake refurbishment and installation of all aspects of electrical services, including switchgear, distribution boards, mains and sub mains cabling, containment, lighting and other electrical equipment.
- Have knowledge of inspection and testing procedures and certify works upon completion in accordance with relevant certification.
- Undertake reactive and planned service works ensuring client expectations are met.
Person
- JIB Grading recognised electrical apprenticeship (City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 and Level 3 / NVQ Level 3).
- City & Guilds 2382-18 (18th Edition).
- City & Guilds 2391-52 or equivalent.
- Valid ECS Grade Card – Approved Electrician; in depth knowledge of electrical test & inspection procedures, good computer literacy and ability to use testing & inspection software for completing reports.
- In depth knowledge of the current regulations BS7671:2018.
- Flexible approach to work; out of hours working may occasionally be required to complete the work schedule.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Must have testing experience.
Package
- Starting salary of £41,822.
- Vehicle – car.
- Travel paid except for 1st and last hour of the day.
- Monday – Friday 40 hours per week.
