Job Summary: As an Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work on residential and commercial properties. Your role will involve managing a team of electricians, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of electricians, ensuring all work is performed safely and to code.
- Project Management: Plan and manage electrical projects from inception to completion, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring.
- Quality Control: Conduct inspections and tests to ensure all electrical work meets safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure client satisfaction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical advice and solutions.
- Training: Provide training and guidance to junior electricians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Compliance: Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical work, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Education: Certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Licenses: Valid electrical license/certification.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety protocols.
