Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Supervisor to oversee our electrical engineering operations. This role is ideally suited to an individual with a background in industrial manufacturing settings and the ability to provide strong leadership.

Description
- Supervise the electrical department’s daily operations within the manufacturing environment.
- Ensure all electrical equipment is maintained to an appropriate standard.
- Lead and develop a team of skilled electrical shift technicians (circa 7 heads), promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Oversee project planning and management for electrical upgrades and installations.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall organisational objectives.
- Adhere to safety and compliance standards, and ensure team compliance.
- Support the development of operational budgets within the electrical department.
- Manage contractor relationships and oversee outsourced electrical work.
Profile
A successful Electrical Supervisor should have:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a leadership role within an industrial manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and departments.
