Search are actively recruiting a Electrical Project Engineer for Battery Storage facility project near Glasgow on behalf of one of our key clients who are an established contractor in the civil engineering and energy sectors.

What you’ll be doing:
- Provide technical support through project lifecycles to help deliver relevant inhouse improvements and project delivery
- Working with Project site teams to deliver electrical engineering input to new projects and modifications
- Support and work closely with other electrical contractors and design consultancies
- Generate the bill of material, technical specification for the procurement department
- Provide accurate request for tender documentation
- Manage relationships and coordinate with consultants, vendors, clients, contractors, service providers, site based/group engineering team and production team
- Liaise with the site Electrical Engineers to ensure new system integration to the MV/LV distribution system is fully compliant.
- Any other project engineering duties as required.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Ideally, the candidate will be degree-educated within electrical engineering;
- At least 3 years’ experience as an electrical or project engineer;
- Previous electrical engineering, NEC and Microsoft Project experience is essential;
- Energy experience is highly desirable;
- Site and design experience would be highly desirable.
