Job Title: Electrical Modifications Technicians
Job Location: Inverness
Hourly Pay Rate: 26.50 PAYE / 33.81 Umbrella
Shifts: Minimum of 50 hours a week.
Shift Pattern: Mon – Fri 07:00 – 17:00
Duration: 6 Months Minimum
Start Date: ASAP
Position Summary:
Working at a live Rail Depots we require Electrical Modifications Technicians who will be engaged for the implementation of a sanding box modification on the Class
Duties could include the following:
Carrying out modifications including wiring strip outs and underframes
Routing wiring from underframe to control boxes and panels
Initial test on works completed and rectification of any faults found
Carrying out inspections and checks to ensure work completed to correct standard.
Carrying out work recording via both paperwork and computer
Using manufacturer supplied computer programs to interrogate and program parts and systems.
Gather evidence of faults where required to aid in creating reports to ensure warranty covered parts are replaced
Personal Profile
Minimum requirements NVQ Level 3 or equivalent award in an Electrical discipline or similar.
Experience of electrical works on Vehicles such as Trains, Aircraft, Marine Vessels, plant, agricultural machinery, Cars, Trucks or Busses
